That's entirely up to you.

Of the stuff he's been involved in my favourites are live bootlegs of his old band Pussy Galore and the records he made with Boss Hog (fronted by his wife Christina Martinez). Most people know him for his Blues Explosion, though. Heavy Trash is his current rockabilly-ish project with a guy called Matt Verta-Ray. They only have one record out, self-titled, came out last year.

yeah I know, but that's not as fun to say.

(you know the sound the guards make in the Wizard of Oz? I pronounce it like that.)

Does anybody else get a Tom Waits vibe off of some of these songs?

Mark Lanegan Band - Bubblegum

Hip Priest 09.18.2006 12:47 PM

The round 2 mixtape.

DemonBox 09.18.2006 12:50 PM

To the radio. They actually played Sonic Youth rigth now. You don't hear them on Norwegian radio everyday.

gmku 09.18.2006 12:58 PM

People making random and annoying noises in the kitchenette right outside my office. God, I hate my work place. Microwave beeping. Next will come the sickening smells of last night's warmed-over casseroles.

Bertrand 09.18.2006 01:02 PM

Listening to the radio right now.
How things stink here.
J-M Le Pen, brave old fascist leader, is actually parading on the air, trying to look cooler than Sarkozy, the over-ambitious minister who seems to be ruling France, without actual president Chirac's disapproval (all he's interested in nowadays is promoting powerful friends to the best places to keep him out of trouble once a regular citizen again - so many of us begging for justice to sneak into his books)...

Incesticide 09.18.2006 01:14 PM

Syd Barrett - Love You

TheDom 09.18.2006 02:13 PM

Nick Drake - Peel Sessions 8-5-69

someone just sent this to me randomly on soulseek

it is really good

Nirvana - Big Long Now

My first autumn music, it always starts off with nirvana espically this song it's so grungy and cold makes me think of a wet grey aberdeen, seattle.
im really getting back into nirvana again at the moment.

DemonBox 09.18.2006 03:24 PM

The Libertines 2nd album. I always liked this one a lot. I guess it's some kind of guilty pleasure. I don't give a fuck, it's a good album.

I could, too, actually. Autumn seems to be Nirvana time for me, too. Some SY stuff is for autumn, too, like Sister and EVOL.
