I've had such a hard time trying to find deatils of that that I was going to cast doubt on its existence, but: http://www.bottrop-boy.com/?page=842...oductId=984105

After my ToL session, I put on Loren Mazzacane Connors and Christina Carter's Meditations on the Ascension of Blind Joe Death Vol 1. For anyone who's interested, it's fucking brilliant.

I can't remember what they costed at the Bottrop Boy site, but Forced Exposure sold them for $140.

I'm listening to Gate.

Really? Which Beasties album in particular? Or do you mean it just has that Beasties look?

Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon

The store owner actually was not encouraging toward my purchase of this LP. I was walking around the store with it for a while, then saw him and decided to ask what he thought about it. He shrugged and said he was lukewarm about it and liked their earlier stuff much better--then I think he realized he might have been losing a sale, because he quickly added, "But I think it's the last great one they made."

I put it back in the racks that day. Then went back the next day and got it.

it's an absolutely fantastic record, i can't see how someone would choose their earlier work over their later work although i like all of their albums...as cliched as it may sound, dark side is my favourite followed closely by the wall.

I've got my setup on running in the neigboring room. I hear drones and noises and bleeps and melodies that I just made going around in endless loops as I sit here in my bedroom. I gave birth to the music and now it keeps humming for itself and I'm alone in my apartment and it's almost midnight. Kind of a very magic moment, I'd say.
