(fucking aye!!!! i love both songs, the shoegazer taste of the one in side a and the total psych jazz on side b, the sax fucking slay, i love how they manage to channel miles davis, sun ra, post-syc pre-dark side pink floyd and sy)

(it's smegma and it's awesome like always)

(kinda weird, i finally got it, it's their only album i didn't get into right away and haven't heard in a while, but now i totally get it, helps i'm listening to it on vinyl, but then again, it's debatable since it's a picture disc)

What are Isis like?

I saw one of their LPs real cheap online.

to put it very simply, they are like if mogwai were ten times heavier, tuned down and had a guy roar from time to time over the music.

wasn't that one recorded digitally though? If so, Vinyl really wouldn't make a difference other than for the romanticismof listening to it as sides and not tracks

actually, boris always records analog.

besides, it's because of the extended versions of the songs (my machine and farewell, i don't like those songs on the cd version).
