This is a TC classic!
Did you know Tom is in: Morning Scales The Mountain? I’ve seen them a couple of times, mostly a trio of rock fusion. Quote:

Yoho yoho! The new Oiseaux-Tempete album is out!
https://oiseaux-tempete.bandcamp.com...ortil-ge-o-s-t It's a soundtrack and completely instrumental, so no GW Sok vocals, nor Jessica Moss constellation violin. But it's fine anyway. Has anyone seen this movie by chance? |

Flying Horseman have released two videos for their upcoming album:
The first is a beauty https://youtu.be/BdW4hkniPgw The second is hmm not so much https://youtu.be/JnL3w4sWG18 Or perhaps it's just the video, the song itself is still OK |
Pink Floyd Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena Los Angeles, CA April 26, 1975 Mike Millard Original Master Tapes via JEMS (and Dime) 2496 Edition The Lost and Found Mike the MICrophone Tapes Volume 18 amazing sound! artwork is not the same, the date is, this is the upgrade on the definitive edition. Love, Forever Changes, 1967.
I discovered this in 1986. It blew me away. It changed my fucking life. Lately, after a long time away from it, I feel a desperate need to hear it again, over and over. It's the greatest album ever made, imho. |

Some smooth and atmospheric blend of hazy psychedelia and urban melancholia on that particular record. There is an intriguing cohesiveness to its structure and I like the playful arrangement and the production for the most part. I have to admit though that his low-key vocal delivery and the overall atmospherical glum "laziness" (intentional though it may be) do get a bit tedious towards the end. But I was enjoying it a lot for at least the first half of it's running time. Must've been the playful lushness that stood in a strangely harmonic opposition to the vocal stylings and the downtempo mood. And that sweet sax adds a lot. Plus, there are some very effective segues and transitions in there, I'm always a sucker for that. Overall, a good album, not exactly great though. |
