Need? No. Do we need any movies? No. I love spiderman (original series) too much to say I dislike these movies. They are by far the best comic movies out there.

Er...Oberst is a folk singer/songwriter. He hardly even borders emo. He just has a whiny voice. Pity that he got that image (and fanbase), cause he's incredibly talented. Best to dig a bit deeper than hearsay - perhaps even listen to an actual song.

Realize I'm from Omaha, where Mr. Oberst also hails from. There is a like a cult/look a like club that centers around him here. People really think he is the second coming of something... Whatever, he bores me to tears.

Funny and true story. Two weekends ago he was slated to play a free concert at Memorial Park here in Omaha. All of his minions, followers, and just about half the teenage population of Omaha packed into this park to watch him play for FREE. It rains, and he refuses to play. Chaos. AHAHA. People seriously cried. It could of been worse, they could have paid to see him.

Hahaha. If they paid that would have been messed up, but since it was free...

The best part was he would also been playing to a lot of soccer mom's, and general suburban rubbish. Republican voters and the like. Strange gig for an indie 'god'.

well i think conor oberst isn't the best singer in the world but he's a good songwriter.. and he knows how to cope with his voice's defaults.
