Since the EG#EG#EG# tuning has been revived (and according to Chris Lawrence) why not add Lee #2 to the set lists? I looove this song.

Chris Lawrence 04.26.2006 11:51 PM

Lee #2 is in FCA, not EG#, but I certainly support the nomination to bring it back. Especially if Thurston wants to play more bass.

Neongod 04.27.2006 05:28 AM

LEE #2

tabbed (kinda) by chris lawrence

here's my mediocre attempt at tabbing this incredibly cool instrumental
from the goo demos..

in EG#EG#EG#
----------------------------------

I've transcribed it in standard, but these are your words on Mustang.

seeing as its a open letter to SY... here goes.... DONT PLAY A FESTIVAL IN IRELAND THIS YEAR, PLAY YR OWN HEADLINING GIG IN DUBLIN.....

making the drama scene 04.27.2006 09:29 AM

seeing this as an open letter as well.......Come and play in Europe!!!!
What was it, when Lee said early this year that you're gonna start the tour in Vienna? I'd love to see you in Austria!!!!
Last year I went to Germany to the Rock am Ring festival....it took me years to get there, for one hour SY......but this festival was awful (except for SY of course)..........so now I'd wish to see you in Austria....on a headlining gig

that wasnt a festival, they just supported Chemical Brothers and some unknown band. 3 bands dont make a festival.

kingcoffee 04.27.2006 12:35 PM

I can't believe Lee #2 was cut from Goo. That was a travesty. The band should have tossed My Friend Goo instead of Lee #2.

Oh, I know. That was also 8 years ago, or so.

Ah, well, look at that. I was going to provide a link to the 'mustang' tuning guide where the updated tuning was, but it appears this exists only on my hard drive. Well, at least I'm aware of that now...I thought I'd published it long ago.

Anyway, yeah, Lee #2 is in FFCCAA (as is "Mary-Christ" and Lee's "Here"). Thurston plays bass on it, and Kim plays guitar -- not sure if this is true for the demo version, though. Live + Reissue version, yes.

And yes, they should play it again.

Chris Lawrence 04.27.2006 08:54 PM

for what it's worth...it was correct in the gear guide. :D

i didn't realize people still looked @ these sites.. i have so many new pieces of information to incorporate...a lot of it is already done...hmm...

have people seen the quotes on the concert chronology?

Neongod 04.27.2006 08:56 PM

Chris,
Since you're around, how about having a go at Radical Adults? You seem to have the best ear out of most of us. That is, when you're not busy transcribing Rather Ripped for us. ;)

whorefrost 04.27.2006 08:57 PM

chris, is yr avatar a picture of you? guess it must be... always wondered what you looked like...

Neongod 04.27.2006 08:57 PM

Again, it's a Phil Collins album cover
