sixousie and the banshees-juju

i am happy to say that finally, after years of not getting this band's appeal, i know understand why this ablum is loved. ive had it for a while but listened to it three times and wrote it off, however, last night i threw it on the record spinner, and realized, HOLY FUCKIN SHIT, this is some of the best guitar based post punk ever, how could i have been so blind for so long? the guitar melodies are incredible, all swirly and haunting. the bass is present, and actually adds to the guitars appeal. the percussion and bass rank up there with a lotta the post punk greats, joy division, pil and such. and siouxie has a beautiful voice, arguably the most beautiful voice in all of postpunk or punk period. does anyone know which banshees ablum i should go for next, now that i have been enlightened?

Indeed , that album has got some fucking great guitar playing. You should really get the preceding album "Kaleidoscope", on that album plays the same guitarist John McGeogh.

Now: Roxy Music - Roxy Music

Yes, and the live album with Robert Smith Nocturne is great too.

EDIT: I forgot that you didn't like The Cure :D Anyway Smith's playing is a bit different with Siouxsie, it's noisier and not far from McGeogh's.
