I am thinking the same!!! Nobody, but nobody, was paying Loveless much attention in 1991 when I first bought it and fell in love with it. Same with this.

Those of us in the know can look smugly annoyed 10 years from now when the rest of the world suddenly discovers this "lost gem" called Mirrored.

Loveless got all kinds of praise and hype upon its release in the world in which I live. I don't know what you are talking about. People were talking it up all the time in the press, and calling it "groundbreaking," "visionary" and "important" all the damn time. Not that it didn't deserve it, but it was hardly going unnoticed.

And Battles is getting super heavy attention at the moment. Praised by hip Indie journals and, I believe, got a big write up in a lefty uk broadsheet.
