I'm listening to Chrome Hoof - Pre-Emptive False Rapture, I really dig this record, it's fun and interesting.

paul metzger - deliverance (locust 103)
3 tracks of unbelievable drone & raga on a altered banjo.
i bought the lp at his show in brooklyn last week and already it's an easy contender in my top 10 for the year.
it's an amazing looking record and it might be one of the best sounding records i've ever heard in terms of fidelity in a long time.
He's unbelievable live also. He's playing Monkeytown this week. I can't wait to see him again.

I wish I could help you with that, Tanky.

I've got some Jon Spencer Blues Explosion cued up but I need to go get my restorative sleep. I'll fade away with Radiohead's "Dollars and Cents" in my head, I think.

Paul recorded that in our studio!
I'll tell Dave you said good job on the recording.
He'll be most pleased. It is an incredible LP; I'm glad he finally recorded the big long piece that's on there.
I've been wearing my special "Deliverance" longsleeve a lot in the past few days. I had it on in my most recent "post a picture of yourself" pic.
Yeah, Paul's really outdone himself this time. Glad to see him getting some love from afield.
