Hearing Sun Ra for the first time...Supersonic Jazz. It's really interesting, especially Advice to the Medics, great piano playing.
The sound quality is pretty bad, though. Are all Ra's reacords like that?

Space is the Place has good quality, unless you're an audiophile or something. I don't care all that much. But I was in the same boat as you. Went to the record shop to find something, wasn't there, so I bought this. Seems good. I think it'd be better without singers, though.
