the zombies odessey and oracle 30th anniversary edition
(listening' to Stereo version atm) I just bought this because the album art captivated me, along with their name. Great band. I never knew these were the guys that do "Time of the Season". I was like "huh? The Zombies DO TIME OF THE SEASON?!" They're so much better then that single! Though sitting down and really listening to it and not on some commercial or movie, the organ solos kick ass! Reminds me of Money Mark. Love this band! |

kept meaning to get this. How is it? |
Bill Laswell, just perfect chill-stuff. |
more chill, with Current 93's Hypnagogue (A dream prologue I & II) |

Well, it's an ambient album, really excellent. (some good good contributions from Coil) Some indian stuff on it aswell, really relaxing. You should check it out if u like Laswell. Dunno what else to say, hehe. |

one of those albums i've always had mixed feelings about. some tracks like Same Song & Dance, Stay Wide Awake and Deja Vu are CINEMATIC.. the flow, rhyming, storytelling there is just perfect, and they put me in the same atmosphere as awesome horror movies like Maniac.. but overall the tracklist could've been much better. Em and Dre recorded enough material around that time for 3 CD's, and some of the unreleased material is rumored to be amazing. i wish Em didn't scrap Relapse 2 and give us bullshit like "Not Afraid" instead. hopefully one day he'll still release that record.. |
Jean-Louis Murat - "Pauline et François" soundtrack (on deezer)
Really good, too bad there are only three tracks. |

RELAPSE to me is a big letdown. The beats are pretty amazing, but I only like less than half of the finished tracks. Felt like Em was in jrkoff mode recordign that album. TOo bad. Then he puts out RECOVERY which I figured would be the record I wanted this to be -- but it really really wasn't. I don't get it, all his recent verses on other peoples' tracks have been amazing. |
