We're gonna have to wait until (Sonic) 2014, it seems: It has been officially announced that The Thing has funded their own label, The Thing Records, and will be releasing, in association with Trost Label & Distribution, a couple of new albums in the fall of 2013 and some others in 2014, including one in the spring by The Thing & Thurston Moore, which is at the moment tentatively titled "OTO". It should be made available in LP and CD format (catalog number: TTR004).
