What if they made a film version of DayDream Nation? Like "Pink Floyd's The Wall" movie? I imagine it would still be a no, but would it work? Given your ideal director, ideal cast, and ideal visual accompanyment.

It would either be good or bad, it's more likely to be bad though.

it wouldn't work in the same sense because it doesn't run anything like a story as the wall does. i love the album (the wall) but the movie creeps me out in several spots and drags on and on and on.

I think it would be awesome if it was all just visual touring clips and what not with the music put on top like "MacBeth" or something. Have the video fit the music in atmosphere, etc.

Across the Universe was a hideous nightmare. And I love Julie Taymor's Titus. How the mighty have fallen.

I think it would be a really stinky idea to incorporate SY's music into any kind of movie (example = Juno).
