Maybe I have no place in commenting, considering I'm not contributing to it. But I actually liked the other picture you posted. That one is sort of boring. It doesn't look like a noise album cover, but maybe thats what you were going for.

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 05.11.2006 03:01 PM

I was trying to find a good photo.

Savage Clone 05.11.2006 03:04 PM

I like it better than the V-Twin and drippy letters.

Пятхъдесят Шест 05.11.2006 03:04 PM

It looks like this part of Omaha called Dundee.

finding nobody 05.11.2006 03:10 PM

how about this

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 05.11.2006 07:46 PM

What If I changed the title to urban blue?

Savage Clone 05.11.2006 07:48 PM

Does that mean I need to showcase some "Mad Skilz/Sick Breaks?"
If so, I'm out.
Otherwise, call it what you want, but some of us probably live in the boondocks.

krastian 05.11.2006 07:56 PM

Ha, sick breaks.

Agreed. I live in the middle of nowhere. Nothing close to Urban for miles.

finding nobody 05.11.2006 08:26 PM

so what do you tink of the pic rhys? by the way that one is in negative, it looks pretty cool normal too. it's like brownish

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 05.11.2006 09:10 PM

Rhys, are you still taking applications?

I consider my noise to be sub-par, but check out Keyboard Improv No. 1, it is sort of spacy sounding with a lot of digital noise added by an octave and my effects. If you like anything on there, feel free to put it on your comp. I just do noise for fun. I don't really right experimental pieces, just do improvs.

BTW I'm using a frequency analyzer on Guitar Improv No. 1 (among other things, the amp is pretty heavily cranked, I might have a fuzz pedal on top of that too, but I clean it up at the end) You said you wanted to know a bit about it. I might have used it on keyboard improv No.1

My noiz myspace.

val-holla-ing 05.11.2006 11:17 PM

if it's not too late, i have something i'd like to submit.

Everyneurotic 05.11.2006 11:28 PM

mr sheriff sir, i have a spare song lying around, can you include me?

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 05.13.2006 12:09 PM

Yes, indeed. Im taking submissions for another couple of weeks. So if I find a ligite title does anyone mind if I keep the pic from above?

Savage Clone 05.13.2006 01:36 PM

I have no problems with that.

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 05.13.2006 03:40 PM

BTW, I never got any other opinions on the first title in this thread; "blue noise".

finding nobody 05.13.2006 03:54 PM

i think blue noise works. it reminds me of the beck song pink noise

atsonicpark 05.13.2006 05:31 PM
