Sonic Youth will perform this New Year's Eve in London at the Hammersmith Apollo with Shellac and Factory Floor. More info via the ATP site.

Sonic Youth will also appear the previous night in Manchester at the Manchester Academy.

Has anyone managed to oder through the presale? The See Tickets site shows availability but the transaction failed. Just called and was told pre-sale tickets are "probably sold out" (though they didn't seem to know for sure).

do you want me to buy you a ticket with no commitment that you have to buy it, so I would end up with one extra tick. for myself if you would decided not to go, or could not come for whatever reason?

Yesterday I bought tickets for the London gig. What a way to spend new year's eve.
I come from Belgium to see Shellac and The Youth. I'm very curious to The Pop Group as well.

I just can't wait. Also a chance to get to know new people.

I'd expect to at least get some canapes and champagne for 45 quid.

managed to get a ticket for the NYE show...will be catching a plane over from Australia a couple days before and then onto exchange at Leeds. If any locals wanna hang out, that would be awesome! can't think of a much better first time experience.
