doesnt mean I don't want to go to see him in Vienna ;). and we should. The Best Day live sounds amazing. yeah, I managed to move my shift around in the end, asking my boss, knowing I have nothing to loose and it worked out in the end.

:(

I went to T's gig a bit late and was standing quite far from the stage cause I was busy looking after the flat stock tents most of the time. ugh!! should have told you before the festival so you could have come and said hello... well, next year...

edit: i think i saw sergi at swans, sitting somewhere in the middle. was still to tired to go say hi though

greenlight 06.02.2015 01:20 PM

i was at swans too. first time seen swans live.

and that's only some of the gigs wfmu broadcasted. there was plenty more. plenty of electronic acts you would definitely enjoy.

yeah. after the first song A LOT left. I thought it was really interesting that most of the people who ran to the front at the beginning where the ones leaving... :)

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 06.02.2015 07:58 PM

sk.. swans.. ex hex.. all these bands came individually to LA recently so im not entirely jealous but to see them all at the same time?? But only 15 minutes for swans?? Wtf are they going to play, half a song?

pony 06.02.2015 08:28 PM

I find people leaving so early even funnier if i think about how long they had to stand outside of the auditorium to get in. I got in through the pro line (THANK GOD!) but the normal line looked ridiculously long!!

I went to see the following bands: Albert Hammond, Jr. Thurston Moore Band, Sunn O))), Disappears, The KVB, Fumaca Preta, Ex Hex, Patti Smith, The Julie Ruin, Sleater-Kinney, Pallbearer, Swans, Einstürzende Neubauten and Babes in Toyland.
+ I basically heard everything that was playing at the ATP stage when I was at the flatstock convention...

Rest of the time I was sitting at the flatstock convention, looking after booths, feeling miserable because of the heat and being a cry baby. Good times! I am not made for heath and I think I might also be too lazy for festivals.

Oh and I spotted Thurston wearing a weird suit on Wednesday. Looked so weird. I only recognized him cause Eva was walking in front of him. He looked so weird. weird weird weird.
