Lightning Bolt tonight
 

anyone Scots on this board going to check out Lightning Bolt in Glasgow tonight? I'll be there with my camera and an inane grin...

Neat....report back if you would. Keen to know what they play live now and if they have defected to playing on a stage. I have to wait until a week monday for my fix of the 'bolt. DJ Scotch Egg is compering though which will be interesting.....unless he's been deported by then. He still doesn't have a legit visa apparently....

ok, they still don't play on a stage... luckily the venue had a balcony otherwise i would have been able to see sweet fuck all... they played 4 or five songs from hypermagic mountain and quite a few older songs i recognised... not really sure about song titles... oh, thirteen monsters which built up slowly for ages sending the audience into a frenzy when it kicked in... they played the first few songs off hypermagic which was delightful... very high energy... the bass player's grown his hair out... he looks like a bewildered caveman...

did you get to use your camera or it was just your company for the night?ha ha,kidding.i'd love to see pics if you took any."brian caveman" sounds good...
