Serena Maneesh's first LP from a few years ago. It's very good.

A pretty sweet old rehersalrecording from a sideproject I recorded a few years back.

If you are unfamiliar with them they are influenced by Branca/Sonic Youth and are very fun to see live (I think they will be in the USA for the first time this August) Sometimes they have up to 4 drummers and 4 or more people on guitars etc... http://youtu.be/Pz5m236ulKo

I don't know. It's the one called New Album, from 2011, I think. Who's Nurse with Wound?

On vinyl. Of course.

gmku 01.31.2012 07:31 PM

The above two. How many times have I seen these in the racks and yet passed them by. Could this be a sign that the time is nigh upon which gmku must purchase?

gmku 01.31.2012 07:38 PM

Well... perhaps. I need to go on down to Harvest and pick up my special-order Serena Maneesh LP (the one from 2010). Maybe I'll pick these up too if'n they're in the store.

Thing is, I've resolved to buy mostly new music, i.e., 2010-plus, this year. Last year was this big catching up year for me, and I bought a huge amount of stuff to fill holes in my collection from the 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s, and 50s.

I really need to get back into more recent stuff.
