hail anyone in Slovakia! Leah and I are in this show in Bratislava, opening 070611, until 090411.

Lee is included in the 4-person show ‘Transport: Tara Fracalossi, Thomas Lail, Leah Singer, Lee Ranaldo’ at Galeria Cypriana Majernika, Bratislava, Slovakia. July 6- Sept 4, 2011. Info is currently limited and mostly in Slovakian, but should hold more soon, here. Lee will show a music-heavy 2 channel video work w quad sound,”Endless Sleep”, featuring the San Jose, California ‘stoner-metal’ band Sleep and Parisian noisician and ‘metal turntable destroyer’ Arnaud Riviere. His audio will also be heard on Leah Singer’s video piece “sight unseen”.

this is crazy news! i just can not believe it! i don't know if i will make it but. does anyone know exact date yet?

i will be in Vienna starting the first of september. considering to drop by. Easy connection, right?

after some searching on internet: 14 euro for a trainticket (returnticket), that's cheap!

what about the latest train from bratislava -> vienna?

hoping for more detailed info: lee + sleep, never thought of that combination...

I'm not sure that Lee's actually appearing in Bratislava, I think it's just that some of his and Leah's artwork is in the exhibition. Sorry to get your hopes up :o

Slavo, we could meet right in the middle between Bratislava and Vienna for a beer. Everyone would have to travel estimated 40 km. I almost did a one day trip to Bratislava two weeks ago. Almost - it was too hot for my taste.

i might come tomorrow. but first need to look at the trainticket options.

sorry mate, couldn't come. have been to busy (already) for a trip to bratislava.

guess i will miss this one. which is a shame, i was rather looking forward to the combination of Ranaldo and Sleep.

But I will go to Bratislava time before februari, the question is when.
