Keep Up w. Public Enemy?

Any Sonic Youth fans keep up with Chuck D and Flava Flav and the Security of the First World?

The new album with Paris is some shit to juggle!

RdTv 05.09.2006 08:34 AM

you might also check out for your own benefit the public enemy website. publicenemy.com. there is a good message board there that might have more helpful posts than this.

I haven't heard the new record. I'll check it out. I met Chuck D after one of his lectures or whatever. He was a cool ass guy and signed my flyer for the event. Worrrrd up.

flav is not always fast and chuck is not always fast. plus if you can make out the syntax of early sy, you shouldn't have a problem with recent pe!

I was an avid Flavor of Love watcher when it was on. I still need to get all the great Public Enemy records, though. Definitely at the top of my to-purchase list.

"fear of a black planet" is a cool album.

sonic sphere 05.10.2006 09:25 AM

i saw them live in dublin a few years back and it was a fucking unbelievable gig!

HaydenAsche 05.10.2006 11:37 AM

Public Enemy is one of my favorite rap groups of all time. Fear of a Black Planet is phenomenal.

therealglenstyler 05.10.2006 11:51 AM

fear of a black planet is about as exciting and great and mind blowing as music gets.

laserbeard 05.10.2006 11:54 AM

agreed. Black Planet is super dense; there's a lot of amazing shit going on in that record.
