I hated Loaded at first. I brought it to work recently and listened to it for about 4 hours straight, and I actually like it now.
I have like 4 Fushitsusha CDs downloaded that I haven't listened to yet. I should probably listen to those. |
yeah, VU went away from the Avant Garde and more towards strait up rock for Loaded.. i like the album though. good pop tunes
|
Yeah, cause Cale left. I like Lou Reed more than Cale, but Reed under the influence of Cale is a holy union.

The Mekons - Rock and Roll
Every time I plunk this down on the platter, I'm amazed. I can't believe this album didn't get more acclaim back in its day. It's like the Clash meet some backwater Cajun/country band. |

The s/t is way better than Loaded. Loaded has three or four good songs--the first three or four, and they're only "good" not "great." But that's just one fan's opinion. |
Siouxie and the Banshees - israel

The mixtape I recieved in Pookie's game again. Now that I've put my review up I can just relax and enjoy it.

Laid off; not enough biz to keep us both employed. My employer had to cut his own salary besides laying me off, actually. I'm not minding having the summer free though; not at all. As for what I'm listening to: Big Black - Lungs |
don't buy the VU s/t, it's not worth it.
|
Pay no attention to the Keefer lookalike behind the curtain. It is certainly worth it, if you're a VU fan.
|
no it isn't.
|
