I have only vinyl, so I can't help. I really don't have the energy, or technical nous to figure out how to get vinyl > mp3. Have a bump on me though.

Same as spiritbears, I used to have a really nice compilation lp which I've lost.

I think it had a picture of a staircaseon the cover, but I've never seen it for sale again to replace it.

And I can't remember the name of the spoken-word track where the Faustian pact is made.

Omg They Are Playing Pittsburgh! I Am So Happy :)

spiritbears 03.24.2006 09:26 AM

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 03.24.2006 09:28 AM

Check your pms in like 10 minutes.

God, YSI takes forever. I'm very frustrated that Bauhaus is opening for NIN and not the other way around, and also that Peaches is opening as well and not TVOTR. I really want to see tv on the radio live.

spiritbears 03.24.2006 09:49 AM

i haven't heard anything about peaches playing here in albuquerque....just bauhaus and NIN.....outdoor concert..AWESOME>.....though i am more excited about bauhaus!!! (i saw NIN in Sept..)

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 03.24.2006 09:57 AM

You get TV on the Radio, you lucky bastard

ohthehorror 03.24.2006 10:53 AM

Bauhaus albums are still in-print, check your local record store. I know Barnes and Noble sells them, you may have to ask them to order them in for you though.

Anyway im totally psyched about the new tour.

spiritbears 03.24.2006 11:15 AM

any luck julian???

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 03.24.2006 02:23 PM

I emailed you a link, did you get it?

Ohthehorror, you mean CD's right? What about vinyl? I need to find In the Flat Field on vinyl. My radio station had it, so I always played stuff from it there, but in my personal collection I only have their singles comp and a 12" single of third uncle/ziggy stardust.

spiritbears 03.24.2006 02:26 PM

wow..thanks julian....I hadn't checked that e-mail in a while...
THANK YOU!!!!!!

ohthehorror 03.24.2006 03:36 PM

Yes I was talking about CD's. Now and then I will spot a Bauhaus vinyl at the record stores I hit here, but you can usually find them on ebay.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 03.24.2006 08:30 PM

I'm so busy spending money on guitar stuff records are hard to buy, most of the records I've got recently have been from box lots, got diamond dogs, the clash s/t, 2 ramones records, a comp from that sheffield label that gang of four and mekons were on, etc. I'm gonna pick up the new TVOTR album and the new Sonic Youth album when they come out though.

I have a bunch of CD's but I really honestly hate cd's. I think CD's are a lot more fragile than records, half my CD's skip on 1/2 or more of their tracks, barely any of my vinyl skips, and if it does, I just lift up the needle and move it a millimeter.
