Silver Session question (vinyl?)

Has anyone ever had the chance to ask anyone in the band about a potential issue of this on vinyl? I know the story about the bootleg was shot down. I enjoy this recording a lot, would be cool to maybe see it packed in with a SYR vinyl box set or something of the like...
