Sounded real good. Only complaint: a lot of YYY kiddies were in the front TALKING thruout SY's set. Tomorrow'll be better because SY goes on last. YES!

BTW, stayed for YYY's. Karen O is just a clone (vocally, anyhow) of Souisie of S and the Banshees.

^That's who her voice always reminded me of too.....some people have mentioned some other chick singers, but she always reminded me of Siouxsie.

My mom thought Maps was by the Pretenders.

Yeah, I can see that too. Just don't know why she's so popular. She's so UN-original. Oh well.
It just bothered me a bit that the pool was not crowded during SY but got real crowded for the YYY's. It was like a bona fide GREAT band followed by this superfical group. c'est la vie

aww teenage riot (this tour) and the world looks red were supposed to be OURS! (toronto) . bummer, but also awesome for everyone that gets to see them.

The McCarren show was way too short...13 songs.
Plus Thurston gave the only energetic performance.
This was so much shorter than the Irving Plaza show last year.
I still have my ticket stub, I feel like I'm owed more for it.

Stop complaining, u baby. Everyone knew it would be quite a bit shorter @ McCarren. They ALL had super energy, esp. Kimmie!

I happen to like the YYYs, their performance was pretty good, but it's funny how on the friday show the kiddies seemed for enthusiastic about them..but tonight the whole crowd was more into Sonic !
