Why don't you hold hands with Iain and drown yourselves in the Thames together.

If you bring a tape recorder, and we can release it in a limited run on coloured vinyl, then youve got yourself a deal.

Anyway, that would be far too much like the Mitchell brothers "dying" in Eastenders all those years ago. And im only doing it if i can be Phil

The catalogue i wish i could have amassed this afternoon

John Fahey - America 2xlp, bloody amazing looking

That's gone now. I saw some Killdozer in there once amongst the mountains of shite, it seemed like the kind of place that the owners didn't have a clue about music so if you hate the time to spare (i.e. a couple of days) you might have been able to find some decent stuff for cheap. but probably not many people bothered becasue it was such a skanky mess.

The Berwick St. branch of music exchange has some vinyl by gay beast, der tpk (first album), and an early siltbreeze 7'' of a band whose name now escapes me. Also the 7'' by The Sticks that Byron Coley reviewed on this month's The Wire and some Merzbow box. They need to get rid of the fucking madchester section!

Toilet & Bowels 03.30.2010 06:36 PM

thanks for the siltbreeze tip off, will have a look tomorrow

the ikara cult 03.30.2010 06:46 PM

the place that used to be Rainbow records just off Oxford St has changed, theyve moved their German stuff. Berwick st has never been all that much cop in my humble opinion.

It's priced 6 pounds and it's at the back of the indie 7'' section in front of the counter. I would have bought it myself but my budget for records this month is already in the red.

pokkeherrie 03.30.2010 07:07 PM

what's the teenage panzerkorps one going for?

Genteel Death 03.30.2010 07:09 PM

11 quid. Mint condition.

the ikara cult 03.30.2010 07:11 PM

games for slaves is £11 at second layer

Genteel Death 03.30.2010 07:16 PM

It's a reasonable price.

the ikara cult 03.30.2010 07:17 PM

yeah

pokkeherrie 03.30.2010 07:19 PM

that's not bad for either, especially the first one (not sure if games for slaves is oop yet?)

the ikara cult 03.30.2010 07:26 PM

its not out of print yet, you can always go on soulseek if the need takes you anyway

pokkeherrie 03.30.2010 07:28 PM

nah, i have it, i was just wondering how much it would cost in a physical record store compared to ebay etc.

Genteel Death 03.30.2010 07:29 PM

Yeah I was surprised to see it there. I would have thought all copies were long gone. That I know of there hasn't been a repressing.
