Sister is groundbreaking. Rather Ripped is good but it's been done before, a lot of quick catchy songs, by thousands of bands. And catholic block is catchy as hell.

Actually, the last few Sonic Youth albums have been extremely boring. There's nothing like great pop music. It was definitely time for Sonic Youth to make an album that sounded more like Coco's favorite TV theme songs.
