at least according to me...what were yours? I spent a fair bit of time last night and today going through all the shows I've seen this year (about 240 or so total performances), and came up w/ my top 22 and honorable mentions...click on the pic to see more

LCD Soundsystem at the Fox in Pomona
Grizzly Bear, Girls, Pavement, Yo La Tengo, + more at Coachella

Autechre in Lille. By far.

It was definetely Dr. John in a small culb here in Finland!

definately was SY in Brooklyn.

... were probably my favourites. but also really enjoyed:

Swans, Shonen Knife, The Dead C, Bardo Pond, Charlemagne Palestine, Electric Wizard, Urfaust, Comus, Goatsnake, Circle, The Clean, Melt Banana, Borbetomagus, Gate, Boban i Marko Markovic Orkestar, etc.

Didn't go to many this year, but No Fun Acid stands out a long way ahead of any of the others that I saw.

Honorable mention also goes to Bardo Pond and Dead C.

Disappointment of the year: missing Gate due to a heavy cold.

Still bummed for missing Shellac and The Fall, though.

Don't be to bummed about missing the fall, I heard they were very medi core on their last tour at best on the Benelux dates.
