Nefeli - MBV played the Electric Picnic festival in Ireland over the weekend - T&B may have gone to see them there.

Well you're gonna be dissapointed by most bands, even MBV, if you fly to another country to see them (except Sonic Youth)...

oh boo hoo mbv were shit.. oh boo hoo... how dare they do all this again. its been done before... they were so much better in 1990, they are old.. oh how i was disapoointed.. oh i wouldnt go next door to see them.. i am so up with the trands... i am too young to realise how fucking damn great this band is and what a privilage it is to see and hear 2 of the finest aural documents of our age being played live again...

i saw mbv last night... i waited 18 years to see them live, ever since i first heard isnt anything, i missed their last irish show in 1992 due to school exams..... i wasnt gonna miss this one and it was an amazing experience......

if you were dissappointed it is because you really wernt going to it with an open heart... i met many cynics last night before the gig, many saying they were into seeing if the old man can still hack the noise..........

the kids didnt hack the fucking noise, they scarpered halfway during the set closer to listen to css or some other generic twaddle....
