Yet supposedly Trump hasn't done absolutely anything wrong. Nope, no siree. Clean as a whistle. He just happened to surround himself with crooks, liars and general scumbags that's all.

I'll just remind you of this

“ Based on questions and statements I have heard, some of you on this committee appear to believe that Russia and its security services did not conduct a campaign against our country—and that perhaps, somehow, for some reason, Ukraine did. This is a fictional narrative that has been perpetrated and propagated by the Russian security services themselves.

“The unfortunate truth is that Russia was the foreign power that systematically attacked our democratic institutions in 2016. This is the public conclusion of our intelligence agencies, confirmed in bipartisan Congressional reports. It is beyond dispute, even if some of the underlying details must remain classified.

“The impact of the successful 2016 Russian campaign remains evident today. Our nation is being torn apart. Truth is questioned. Our highly professional and expert career foreign service is being undermined.
U.S. support for Ukraine—which continues to face armed Russian aggression—has been politicized.

“The Russian government’s goal is to weaken our country—to diminish America’s global role and to neutralize a perceived U.S. threat to Russian interests. President Putin and the Russian security services aim to counter U.S. foreign policy objectives in Europe, including in Ukraine, where Moscow wishes to reassert political and economic dominance.

“I say this not as an alarmist, but as a realist. I do not think long-term conflict with Russia is either desirable or inevitable. I continue to believe that we need to seek ways of stabilizing our relationship with Moscow even as we counter their efforts to harm us. Right now, Russia’s security services and their proxies have geared up to repeat their interference in the 2020 election. We are running out of time to stop them. In the course of this investigation, I would ask that you please not promote politically driven falsehoods that so clearly advance Russian interests.”

etc etc:

Do believe Thursday was the final day of hearing people share their thoughts, opinions and things they presumed to be true. No more having to hear bureaucrats expound upon THEIR policy disgorgements with President Donald Trump.

No more having to hear the “note taker” fumble on about NOT taking any notes regarding parts of a conversation he overheard from an adjacent room so many months ago.

The policy dispute masquerading as the impeachment inquiry implodes with:

hearsay + perception + I presume + my understanding was = impeachment???

To the best of my knowledge, no other “witnesses” have been subpoenaed or asked to testify before the impeachment inquiry. I doubt the DEMS want additional hearsay testimony that could only conflict with the hearsay testimony provided earlier in the inquiry.

The House and Senate have left town on Thanksgiving vacation:

Meanwhile......the final report will be written and presented to the judiciary sometime after the first of December......probably read by Shifty Schiff.

you guys know that when Trump is not re-elected he will seek to invalidate the election and eventually set himself up as President-for-Life, right?

Nostradamus predicted it. I hope I am kidding

Sadly I'm not sure he won't be re-elected by natural means.

Under The Bus You Go, Rudy: Trump Claims He Didnt Tell Giuliani To Go To Ukraine

It was only a matter of time.

During a radio interview with former Fox News host Bill OReilly on Tuesday, President Donald Trump attempted to distance himself from his personal lawyers efforts to dig up dirt on 2020 candidate Joe Biden in Ukraine.

What was Rudy Giuliani doing in Ukraine on your behalf? asked OReilly.

Well, you have to ask that to Rudy, Trump responded. But RudyI dont even knowI know he was going to go to Ukraine and I think he cancelled the trip.

But you know, Rudy has other clients other than me, he continued. Im one person-

OReilly cut him off: So you didnt direct him to go there on your behalf?

No, Trump said.

The Presidents comments were a blatant effort to pin the scheme to pressure Ukraine into investigating Biden onto Giuliani, who had planned on traveling to Ukraine in May to request the investigation from Kiev before abruptly cancelling the trip.

Though the trip was cancelled, Giuliani facilitated Trumps use of U.S. foreign policy to withhold military aid to Ukraine and strong-arm the Ukrainian president into announcing an investigation in Biden. According to multiple witnesses in the House impeachment investigation, Trump told relevant diplomats to speak to Giuliani on matters regarding Ukraine.

There is also just that slight issue of the transcript the White House released of him saying to Zelensky to work with Giuliani. Whoops a daisy!

Trump Is Spurring Turnout All Right, Almost Always To The Detriment Of Republicans
In every election cycle since Donald Trump became president, turnout has soared across the board and almost always to the detriment of Republicans.

"And 2020 will almost surely be another record-setting year in terms of turnout. According to Brookings, the average turnout gain from a midterm to the next general election is 18 points. Since turnout in 2018 was 50%, an "average gain from 2018 to 2020 would put turnout near 70%, a level we haven’t seen in more than a century."
