Albums with titles for each side

A bit of a lost art, after the arrival of the CD and virtual formats, but off the top of my head I can think of:

Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
A: In The Beginning
B: Afterwards

Todd Rundgren - A Wizard, A True Star
A: International Feel (In 8)
B: A True Star

Kate Bush - Hounds Of Love
A: Hounds Of Live
B: The Ninth Wave

Kate Bush - Aerial
A: A Sea Of Honey
B: A Sky Of Honey
These are actually the titles for each CD rather than LP sides, but why not!

Big Black - Songs About Fucking
A: Happy Otter
B: Sad Otter

And then there's R.E.M.:

Chronic Town
A: Chronic Town
B: Poster Torn

Fables Of The Reconstruction
A: Fables Of The Reconstruction
B: Reconstruction Of The Fables

Lifes Rich Pageant
A: Dinner Side
B: Supper Side

Green
A: Air
B: Metal

Out Of Time
A: Time Side
B: Memory Side

Bring 'em on!

Forgot to mention that CD 2 was later retitled "An Endless Sky Of Honey" as Kate decided to leave the suite as one single track: "Preludeprologueanarchitectsdreamthepainterslinksu nsetaerialtalsomwhereinbetweeennocturnaerial". The liner notes say it was "Reconfigured for the digital world. This disc is programmed to play through its entirety." True story!

Anyway, Dylan's recent Triplicate has a title for each disc:
1: 'Til The Sun Goes Down
2: Devil Dolls
3: Comin' Home Late

Flipper - Gone Fishin'

There's plenty of others by them:
*Reckoning: L / R (yes, this may be cheating)
*Fables of the Reconstruction: A Side / Another Side, at least on cassette
*Document: Page / Leaf
*Automatic for the People: Drive / Ride
*Monster: Head / Tail
*New Adventures in Hi-Fi: Hi / Fi (on cassette)
*Up: Up / Down
*Reveal: Chorus / Ring
*Collapse Into Now: X-Axis / Y-Axis

Nevermind was originally going to have a Boy side and a Girl side, with the latter being all the songs about Tobi Vail.

There's more with this album too!
*The vinyl edition's three discs go Dawn/Tea Time, Dusk/Twilight, Midnight/Starlight.
*The 2016 deluxe edition's extra three discs are called Morning Tea, High Tea, and Special Tea.

Queen II has White Side / Black Side.

I'll give the two sides of an album custom names if I ever make one, just for this thread.

Reminds me of something Mark E. Smith wrote in his indispensable book Renegade, when talking about the designers who offered him "alternatives" ("twenty-five identical images", actually :D) for The Fall's CD cover artwork:

Quote:

I still think in terms of vinyl — side one and side two. It's funny, because there'll be somebody on the other end of the phone saying, "Side one and two? But we're talking about a CD." And I'll be ranting away, totally oblivious, saying, "I want side one like this and side two like that — now sort it out!"
