Don't worry about it. I didn't have my first girlfriend until I was 18. And that only lasted 2 months. And my second girlfriend was at 20. And that only lasted a month. I think it is sort of a society vs me sort of thing. I've been conditioned to feel that there is something wrong if I'm not in a relationship. Which simply isn't true.

yeah! that's it. it's some sort of condition that society puts. and if you're not in a relationship (meaning, if they don't see you walking around with a person of the opposite sex and it's clear and obvious you are going out with him/her), they'll think you are hiding some other kind of relationship with someone your same sex.

i was thinking that how i feel about this is like what the characters from sex and the city feel about being 30-something and not being married or having kids. they feel like they are mutants just because they are not like most 30 year old women...

you're a lovely girl, and talented and smart, i wouldn't worry much about it. i mean if you want someone go for it, if you don't find people attractive/interesting, it's for a reason. you'll find people when you're ready for it. sure when you leave home & live on your own. now, if for some reason you think you have a problem, nothing wrong with working on it.
