Last night, Girls returned for a third season on HBO, debuting two new episodes. This was great for many reasons, and one of those reasons was this: We got to hear Kim Gordon say, “She’s a bitch. That’s my experience.” The former Sonic Youth and current Body/Head member, who’s never worn a fucking scrunchy in her whole life, acted in two scenes on last night’s debut episode. She played Mindy, an inmate at the same rehab facility as the regular character Jessa. She wasn’t in it much, but she’s awesome in her two scenes. HBO has kindly posted the two episodes on YouTube, and Gordon’s two scenes are at the 7:35 and 14:07 marks of this episode. (Meanwhile, the Gordon-free second episode is here.) This might be a good moment to point out that Gordon has also logged cameos in episodes of Gilmore Girls and Gossip Girl. If you want Kim Gordon to show up in your TV show, put the word “girl” in the title.

It is a decent enough show, detailing the troubles of privileged white people in their young adulthood who try to make it in NYC. Like eevry other show on TV. It just coems at it from Lena Dunham's mind, isntead of a bank of ivy league english major white men writers. Therefore the humor is more subtle, and intuitive, and it is very much about emotion and reactions.

but hows the nudity?

It is real actual nudity. real girls with real bodies, which is why everyone is so "shocked" and stupid about it. They never give a fuck about "perfect" nudes, but go and show a woman with wide hips and teeny boobs naked and the whole world gets insane.

Dunham must be doing something right, people really hate her.

I do too, mostly because those people embody everything I hate about parts of hipster Brooklyn. I thought Kim was great, lol @ "meth face"
