It's one of my favourite venues in Glasgow. It's not small, but by no means large either. The stage is almost level with where we stand, and at the front you're like a metre away from the band. It's pretty nice and personal, but it is gonna be PACKED at this gig - get there early as poss, if you want to get anywhere near the front. I saw Deerhoof there in June, and I arrived late - I didn't expect it to be too busy, but shit I couldn't get near the front. At the back there's some nice sofas/seating areas, that are elevated (slightly) from the standing area. But seriously, who the fuck wants to SIT and watch this. Get there early guys..

Sound there has always been good enough for me. I saw Dinosaur Jr there and they were LOUD, same with Mono and Sunn 0))). For a (fairly) small venue, it's got fantastic sound quality, imo.
