I liked Into the Sun initially but probably haven't listend to it for a year so my hopes aren't too high for the new album

Into the SUn was one of their worst records. It had some ok songs on it but lets get serious, it was by far one of their worst albums.

the last time the minutemen ever performed was doing a see no evil cover with rem, anybody know if there is a versin of this somewhere?

Speaking of REM i recently downloaded them doing a cover of roky erickson's "i walked with a zombie" and they did a great job with it.

I have the minutemen's set of this show.

Into the Sun was worse than Reveal.....I realllly hope the new one is good.

No, just the minutemen's set. It's poor quality (one of the worst minutemen shows I have, and I have lots), tape speed fast (got a deck now that can aid that). I used to trade boots and I don't recall ever seeing the REM set, though it could be out there. If you really want it I could ul it sometime, but it's a pain to xfer.

I'll just say that I'm a massive REM and Minutemen fan, so if anyone does know of the recording in question, throw down...

It actually wouldn't be too hard if I don't seperate the tracks (1 or 2 long tracks), so if you can handle that...just gotta find a time to bring my digital recorder home.
