How has your 'look' changed over the years?

How has your choice of garms altered over the years?

Age 0-5 God only knows.

Age 5-10: Had a bit of a Damien from the Omen thing going on.

Age 10-15: Football casual to the max: Pringle jumpers; Lyle and Scott rollnecks; Farahs; Nike Wimbledons. I looked like a teenaged Jimmy Tarbuck!

Age 15-20: Got into 'weird' music. This meant jeans, DMs and band T shirt.

Age 20-25: Pretty much the same as 15-20, but instead of a SY T shirt, probably something like an Unsane one.

Age 25-30: Dabbled in Electronic/Techno/Jungle so T shirts got a bit baggier.

Age 30-Now: Similar to 15-25 but with a few more egg stains on the T Shirts these days.

i become more handsome each day :p

MellySingsDoom 05.15.2007 09:19 AM

I don't think my style of dress has changed a great deal since I was 18. No longer have a biker jacket, but that's about it for change. Ah yes, haircut now short these days, as opposed to halfway-down-my-back long.

sarramkrop 05.15.2007 09:22 AM

0-5 Naked/Paisley underground printed dungarees
5 -10 Turtle-neck fest
10-15 sports casual

15-20 The trannie/punk years. Red or bleached hair, paint-sprayed leather jackets, military boots, flannel shirts, Sonic Youth/ Velvet Underground t-shirts etc.

20-25 Sportwear, 70's leather jacket, trainers, white or check shirts

30- Now Tramp chic

Age 0-6: Mostly hand-me-downs from my cousins, so in pictures I look like I was born 10 years earlier than I actually was.

7-14: The most important thing to me was basketball, I played it all the time, so I dressed like I played basketball. Gym shorts, shirts from basketball camp/anything related to the Bulls, Air Jordans. Often mistaken for a boy early on. In school we had a uniform though.

High school: Jeans, band shirts and other tops of interest. In school I still had to wear a uniform.

College/Now: Nothing of what I used to wear, except jeans. I have no attachment to my clothes. I certainly don't have a look. I'm home most of the time so I don't have to think about it too much. When I do go out I try not to look like a slob.

pantophobia 05.15.2007 09:54 AM

0-5 vaseline and baby powder (i'm half kidding), at times rather long curly hair

5 -10 catholic school uniform then just t-shirts, super short hair, starting to get overweight, oval wire rims

10-15 preppy and nerdy stuff i think, really getting overweight

15-20 crappy band t-shirts and more nerd shirts, peak weight, started growing out my hair my senior year, switch to plastic wayfarer style frames

20-now better band t-shirts, sweaters, jeans, green plastic frames, varied hair lengths (nothing too short though), highlights at the moment, varied facial hair, and have lost 30 pounds plus since ATP and still dropping, literally the healthiest weight i have been at in about 15 years

ALIEN ANAL 05.15.2007 10:01 AM

5-12 anything from k-mart, i loved pipeline.
i use to go to primary school in baggy green pants with a chain and long hair with an undercut and a basketball hat glued to my head

13-14 skate clothes, backwards cap, chain again, skate shoes, skate brand top and gelled hair with a spiked up fringe (embarrasing)

15 short dreads, jeans, and a skate shirt

16-17 black band shirts, med length dreads, ripped jeans, cardigans

18-now home made shirts, home made band shirts, jeans ripped or what ever i have. basic shoes, odd jumpers and long hair about shoulder length

first years I looked like a poor little kid.
next few years I wore what fit.
Then I went a little goth.
then I straightened out.
Now it's tight jeans and t-shirts.

against_the_grain 05.15.2007 10:19 AM

Hardly at all !

I've always been a jeans, T-shirt and sneakers kinda fellow. Basic.

Other fashion trends have never really stuck with me. I did have ONE embarrassing 'trendy' period though....the 'leisure suit'. But I only wore it once or twice....rare...very rare picture...1975.

And my basic lifelong uniform ! Hahahaa.....this was 1962-63. Blurry, sorry.

Pookie 05.15.2007 10:22 AM

Same as ever but fatter.

Everyneurotic 05.15.2007 10:25 AM

everybody who sees my school credentials say that it looks like a slideshow for a fugitive since each one is different.

as for fashion, i really don't think i've changed that much, black band shirts, jeans, tennis shoes...

screamingskull 05.15.2007 10:27 AM

0-5 Hippie dresses, dungarees

5-10 hippie dresses, tye dyed clothing galore

10-15 band shirts, flaired cord trousers, doc martin boots

15-18 cord trousers, pretty tops, converse

sonicl 05.15.2007 10:27 AM

I wear less black than I once did, but apart from that my uniform has always been jeans, t-shirt, trainers or converse, with sweatshirt or jacket added during winter months. Shirts get added into the mix from time to time too.

racehorse 05.15.2007 10:31 AM

0-5 knitted jumpers/colourful dungaress/silly hats
5-10 normal sweat shirts/colourful dungarees/silly hats
10-15 colourful dungarees/jeans/silly hats

_slavo_ 05.15.2007 10:50 AM

0-9 fucked up socialist-regime outfits that my mom has given me because no other stuff was available in the stores
9-13 fucked up non-socialist-regime outfits (after the Revolution) that my mom has given me
13-14 Green Day T-Shirts and hoodies (yes, yes, puberty was cruel to me)
15-19 skate fashion - baggy ripped pants, big hoodies, skate shoes (Etnies has been my favourite shoe brand since then)
20-26 as above, but a little bit more decent - non-ripped baggy jeans, T-shirts with collars, overally a little bit more formal style

Washing Machine 05.15.2007 01:22 PM

0-6 - Anything my mum bought me
7-8 - Horrible lime green Gola tracksuits
9-10 - The most embrassing period! Lets just say I liked Michael Jackson and
the BeeGees a little too much
10-16 - Typical thing, white tops with shirts over various kinds over top
17 + - Black Period, Everything I own now is mostly black. Except a few
biscuit coloured trousers. Kinda like Tom Slone in Daria.

soapbars 05.15.2007 02:16 PM

Toilet & Bowels 05.15.2007 02:45 PM

gmku 05.15.2007 02:48 PM

I look pretty much the same as I did when I was 13... with notable improvements in certain areas, nudge, wink...

pbradley 05.15.2007 02:53 PM

0-7 baby close to crazy tacky 80's garb
8-13 t-shirts and short pants (orange county is hot)
14-18 t-shirts, jeans, whatever shoes
19-now monochrome t-shirts, sometimes band shirt, jeans, chucks

I'm not too fashion-minded
