Do any of you jazzmasters happen to have this one?

John Coltrane / 11-24-61 / Baden-Baden, West Germany / DVD PAL

Getting people to seed again can be a brutally frustrating task on PLG. Currently it looks like I'm gonna torture the sole seeders' bandwith (2-3 kB/s!) until Obama's up for re-election. A million thanks in advance to anyone who can help me get this baby.

By the way: Andrei, that Braxton DVD is friggin' SWEET - thanks a ton for posting the link here.

I think the Coltrane one is up on Dime. I haven't checked or downloaded it (HDD Problems), but i'm pretty sure that i saw it somewhere else.

I checked DaD, HC, TTD, TC and Zomb with no luck. So far I'm doing much better than expected on PLG, though: 58% done after two days. You can bet, however, that once the only seeder is done uploading it a maximum of 2 out of the current 9 leechers, including yours truly, will keep on seeding it. PLG needs to take a hardcore 1:1 ratio policy, baby.

I guess i should delete this vid from my trading list. Gotta buy this one boxset, soon!

Hot DAMN. Guess I'm gonna have to buy it together with Religulous! Now, I wonder how this thing compares to

http://www.amazon.com/Impressions-Jo...743139&sr=1-24

and

http://www.amazon.com/Antibes-Baden-San-Francisco/dp/B0019ZF3PW/ref=pd_cp_d_2?pf_rd_p=413864101&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000R7GKWS&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIK X0DER&pf_rd_r=06SQQR7S951PTMF3TCES .

Not that I've actually seen those two - I just wonder which edition is better. Anyway, be sure to check stores like Tower.com for better prices:

Plus, having already seen the Baden Baden performance i don't have any doubt that i would love that Jazz Icons box-set possibly even more than i do love myself...

Ha.

The performance at Juan-Les Pin Jazz Festival in Antibes, France that's included in the second DVD you linked to, is absolutely stunning as well. John Coltrane with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones playing a set that might just be considered the very definition of beauty. I haven't seen the footage, but i have it as audio (first obtained a copy from mr. atari 2600 that i subsequently lost on a hard drive crash, and thankfully i got hold of another one last year via snail-mail trading). Just knowing that a video recording is out there as well makes me feel very excited. I should be mercilessly killed if i do not order this two very nice items just as soon as i receive the next payroll.

OK, let's see if I got this right:
