I forgot to mention Law of the Rope. Probably the best BM thing I've heard for a long, long time.

Wow. That's one the first BM song I've heard that sounds truly heavy. Most of it's more like a swarm of wasps but that has real, erm, gravity.

Pookie 04.24.2012 01:29 AM

What is BM?

TheDom 04.24.2012 02:00 AM

black metal.

Rob Instigator 04.24.2012 10:30 AM

bowel movement

I've given everything suggested thus far at least one listen and I will do the same for Bytor's suggestions. But I have to say that metal (black or otherwise) doesn't do anything for me.

All Ages Records on Pratt Street - London

I can't recommend this shop enough to anyone who's into punk and happens to go record-buying in London. More than decent selection of records, reasonable prices, friendly staff who take an interest in your taste etc. I also like the fact that for a change their stock totally upstages their online offerings (apparently they will be soon abandoning their web sales altogether), so try paying it a visit if this is your kind of thing.

What sort of stuff do they stock? I realise you said punk. Is it just punk?

Also, they stock band demos, always a plus. No, I don't work for them and there's no chance I'd give them one of my own demos because it wouldn't fit with their style.

I missed this when I read your reply but came across them from a completely different source and am enjoying them/her a lot at the moment.

I like Preteen Zenith.

SpaceCadetHayden 05.03.2012 09:19 AM

I'm outright offended you didn't ask for my suggestions.

floatingslowly 05.03.2012 09:37 AM

What should I listen to, hayden? Unlike everyone else (who is on ignore), I value your opinion.

Say bastedog and die.
