I'm sure if you went to a Smiths or Cure board and did this same thing, you'd get more like 1-5 or 1-7 belonging to the house band. My only surprise is that Evol and Confusion both beat out Bad Moon Rising, but then if SYRFox had voted it wouldn't have gone that way...

[Sandbag] 11.01.2008 03:54 PM

still evol and sister are better than daydream nation!

That's a possibity...
But the threads sure helped.

SYRFox 11.01.2008 05:12 PM

Where is the first Bigfoot album??

SuperCreep 11.01.2008 05:23 PM

Surprised to see Over the Edge at such a high placement, yet Youth of America is nowhere to be found.

They're both great, but I would have thought it to be the other way around.

Death & the Maiden 11.02.2008 12:16 AM

Seven of my top 25 got in. I'm surprised that The Cure's Seventeen Seconds didn't get in, but Faith, Pornography and Disintegration did.

although i'm not a fan, it's obvious these two + the Fall were MAJOR influences on anything having to do with indiepop in the 90's....

HECKLER SPRAY 11.02.2008 04:24 AM
