ive heard not great things about once upon a time in america, but this is supposed to be better i think

Yeah, I've seen all Leone films. I think duck you sucker is his worst but it's pretty good. Once Upon a Time in America wanders a bit and is too long but it has some brilliant moments.

Once upon a time in the west, of course, is one of my all time favorite films.........

I saw this at some ungodly hour this morning - a good way to start New Year's Day.

I'm not sure what I thought. I mean, its premise was ridiculous lying propaganda, but the actual movie was too well-done to be very funny. It was just an old movie that happened to be full of shit. Whatever. 4/10 I guess.
