is this supposed to be a teaser for a NEW LP or is this from the Beyond sessions ?
It says Jagjagwar...?

SYRFox 02.25.2009 04:25 PM

that's because dinosaur jr recently signed to jagjaguwar i think (i'm not sure, but i'm pretty sure i read it somewhere)

Rob Instigator 02.25.2009 04:32 PM

they did. jagjaguwar for dinosaur.

cool video.

SuperCreep 02.25.2009 11:29 PM

Really glad they're releasing a new record. Beyond is one of the very few "return-to-form" albums I actually enjoy. I hope Lou gets a bigger role on this one.

Fuck, they're passive aggressive shit was great.

"Don't" is their best song.

deflinus 02.25.2009 11:53 PM

awesome video. i liked how they briefly talked about the recording setup. i can say im pretty psyched for the new album and i really dig the way I Dont Wanna Go There sounds

SonikJesus 02.26.2009 01:55 AM

Wonder why they were recording tarpit. I just realized how awesome this song is, especially when you blast it (but I guess all dinoasur is better when blasted). It was one of my favorites before on that album but now it's def my fav dinosaur song. Too bad it took some awesome weed to realize this. Hope it's some sort of b-side.

Tokolosh 02.26.2009 04:12 AM

I'm sure that Chris is well aware of what has to be documented, concerning the new album.

Nice vid.

Damn, It Sounds Really Good !!!

Rob Instigator 02.26.2009 10:15 AM

at an austin Dinosaur show back in 93-94 I got up front and screamed for J to play DON't. I did this between songs about 4 times until J looked at me (and he is notorious for not speaking at live gigs for shit) and he made eye contact with me and croaked into the mic "...i can't..."
and then he played The Wagon and I creamed my pants

dazedcola 02.26.2009 12:36 PM

That new song was pretty good but its jmascis's solo's that send me off to another world. Seeing them and sonic youth iive is gonna make this a great summer.

Green_mind 02.26.2009 03:21 PM

sweet, hope they have a good UK tour planned

Yeah, some dude with his uninterested girlfriend shouted for that the first time I saw them though this was only a couple years ago.

Kind of makes sense seeing how fucked up that song is for egos.

Haha. Sounds like you were a douche that night. Still hilarious. Did you think J was gonna sing it or were you joking?

BootsyGraham 02.26.2009 10:17 PM

That video is really sweet. Thanks for the link. The way they interact with each other now is exactly how my band does. "Just shut up and play the drums! Rawr!" The new clips sound awesome. I can't wait to see them and Sonic Youth this year.

deflinus 02.26.2009 10:55 PM

i like how the video ends with J's very expressive head nod. almost like he's saying "yeea... we're okay now"
