This might not belong to here, but where else will it make sense, then?

Keith Cameron's biography of Mudhoney, "Mudhoney: The Sound And The Fury From Seattle", due to be released in September 2, 2013, counts with the collaboration of Thurston Moore as one of the figures contextualizing the history of Mudhoney. Here's a taste:

More information about this project has now surfaced: It's a collection of new Master Musicians of Jajouka recordings and remixes, with participation by John Zorn, Medeski Martin & Wood, Flea, Lee Ranaldo, and others. It is called "The Road to Jajouka" and it comes out through Howe Records on September 10th. Details and link to pre-order from amazon can be found here:

Is it a recording of the show he played with them about 10 years ago, in Holland or wherever?

No. Lee's collaboration is an unreleased solo track called "Boujeloudia Magick", judging by the info on that website. A recording of that performance by the Master Musicians of Jajouka & Lee Ranaldo at Crossing Border Festival in 2003 is floating around in trading circles, though. It has been torrented a few times as well, surely.

A new limited-edition vinyl solo recording by Kim Gordon will accompany the exhibition, and a publication anthologizing Gordon’s activities as an artist will follow in the fall.

John Zorn And Thurston Moore: “@” [#7643]

Screeches, Scratches, Knocks, Bangs, Explosions and Howls in the Night! “@” is a fabulous studio recording of duo improvisations from two downtown masters, each responsible for some of the most dynamic music ever to come out of downtown NY. Both long-time supporters of extreme music and proponents of free improvisation, John and Thurston are brilliant improvisers and have worked with everyone from Derek Bailey, Milford Graves and Evan Parker to Cecil Taylor, Fred Frith, Han Bennink and beyond. Exhibiting a deep musical connection, they come together here for the first time to create a fabulous program of varied and powerful duo improvisations. “@” presents the community of NY’s Downtown scene at its collaborative best.
