New Druid Perfume. Cool stuff, thanks ASP! Just found out these guys are from Detroit; I'll have to check out a local show one day.

Ringmaster is my favorite LP from them. To me, it's one of those 'perfect albums'.

Be warned though, once you start listening to ICP again - there's no going back. I had a similar mindset, just over a year ago. Now I'm even more obsessed than I was in middle school! Although, that might have a lot to do with my 'hood.

I went thru a phase in 2004 affter I read BEHIND THE PAINT and bought like almost every album. Then sold them all by the end of the year. haha. It was a crash-course.

3.5/5
Nothing spectacular, but it's a decent wu-fix til Liquid Swords 2 and Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang drop

noisereductions 08.27.2010 12:11 PM

^I still gotta get that. Thanks for reminding me. I'm listening to ENTER THE WU-TANG as it happens. :)

What are you guys expecting from Lil Wayne when he gets out an album of life behind the walls or the joys of living? My apologies for dumping on Wayne last week.

Does that mean you hit it, and quit it right before Hell's Pit came out (Aug '04)? If so, you should definitely seek it out.

noisereductions 08.27.2010 01:13 PM

yes, the first Wraith was the last one I heard.

Sonic Youth - Goo

It was my favorite, for a very brief stint, in HS. I seldom listen to it these days, but whenever I do I remember why I loved it so much to begin with. Mote is currently filling my senses and stirring some memories of people and places I miss. Great fucking record.

Lee is free(er) than you!

there's a slight chance that I've heard GOO more times than any other album ever. But it's never been my favorite. It is good though.

The first Wraith is one of their worst, it's miraculous that they immediately followed it up with one of their best.

noisereductions 08.27.2010 06:49 PM

I didnt hate the first Wraith. It's... different. It's better than "Miracles" though.
