I really don't know why people give this band and Libertines shit all the time. Maybe it's solely because of Pete. I always loved this album and all the Libs stuff. Can't be arsed to care about Dirty Pretty Things though. Fun little fact: due to the time in my life when I was listening to the Libertines and Babyshambles quite a bit, whenever I hear one of their songs I automatically do 2 things, A) I want to read Oscar Wilde stuff and B) I want to curl into a ball and sob and die.

But The Mollusk and Chocolate & Cheese are the shiznit.

Yeah, that babyshambles album is excellent if you're willing to skip about a third of it. Which probably makes it about a third better better than anything MBV have done.

the second babyshambles album is terrible though. still better than the valentines though.

afraid not! although i did find cop killer on the jukebox in a nearby village last summer-i stuck it on & the locals didn't know what was going on! a police car just happened to arrive soon afterwards.

I have a hard time with The Pod too but if I'm in the mood there is none better.

& YES those are their two best albums.
