KFW is one of my heroes!!! One time he invited me to a cookout, but I got the email a day late! True story. |
Yeah motherfucker |
I don't like Nico's songs.
|
i don't either except for all tomorrow's parties. femme fatale sounds like elevator music.
i'm listening to in utero again because i'm pissed off. |

i had about four copies of that record at one point but i gave two away and kept one to play and the original one because i honestly just don't give a shit about having all kinds of pressings. waste of space.
|
That's unfortunate. There's the yellow vinyl, a favorite fun one, of course.
But the real prize is the mono version. |
i have the one with the sticker on it and one from the 80s which is a floppy scrap-vinyl piece of shit.

I have a cheesy pressing from Germany made in the 1980s. It's on Polydor and doesn't even have the right cover. No pictures on the back, and no gatefold.
|

mine has the pictures on the back but it's not gatefold. it's also on polydor. |

This is turning into an "I am Spartacus" thing - "No, YOU are reported" etc etc :D Back on topic - I have that crappy 80's Dutch pressing too - nice pic sleeve, shame about the crackly vinyl. No matter, I have a copy of the mono release too, so yay me etc etc |
Which you lahk better, the mono or stereo?
& Tanky is your original from the 60s mono or stereo? And what's the label look like? Verve, dark blue? |
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY CARE WHAT PRESSING PEOPLE HAVE?
Listening to this right now. CD reissue by the way. |
i have itunes wired to my stereo reciever so i don't ever listen to it on vinyl anyway because it sounds like shit.

CARE is an emotionally loaded word. I wouldn't put it that way. But curious, interested? Sure, why the hell not. I'm a record collector, smart ass, why wouldn't this interest me? I am SOOO Neg repping you if you do not apologize. |
Apologise? in public? I'd rather sell my original gatefold Neu 2 on Brain and signed by Elvis. The sheer cheek!
EDIT: Oh and, re the whole neg rep thing, I think you'll find I got there first. |
I've got an original unpeeled mono banana album. It's an airbrushed stereo sleeve, but they were sold like that after they ran out of mono sleeves. Got the first Neu! album on Brain too :p
Anyway, I'm currently listening to the third of about 60 classic John Peel shows I've just downloaded. Should dramatically improve my daily commute for the next month or two :) |

Mmmm, I think I'd call it a draw, actually. & I still have 393,977 points. |

Noise, do you have the Hormoaning EP?
|
|
weird man, I was JUST thinking about that. I don't have it. BUT I have WITH THE LIGHTS OUT... do the version show up on there, or should I track down HORMOANING?
|
No, not on Hormoaning. Just these:
1. Turnaround 2. Aneurysm 3. D-7 4. Son of a Gun 5. Even in His Youth 6. Molly's Lips I think these are on Incesticide, too, aren't they? Hey, I also have a split subpop single with Molly's Lips on one side, and The Fluid with a song on the other. This version of Molly's Lips sounds slightly different from on Hormoaning. |

I almost got teh japanese version a few years back. It was $16 I think. |
Yeah, I have that CD. I also have the Australian blue vinyl EP. At the time I thought it was worth getting the vinyl EP too because of the cover photo. And the blue vinyl of course.
