You Am I: Deliverance.

drrrtyboots 04.05.2007 11:26 PM

Yeah. I've heard mono and mogwai are great live, mogwai being incredibly loud. EITS was incredible, beautiful and a million other adjectives of that sort.

k-krack 04.05.2007 11:28 PM

Oh, you saw them!? Niiice! I've seen some videos of Mogwai, and they were killer. I wish I could've seen godspeed.....:(:(

drrrtyboots 04.05.2007 11:30 PM

Yeah, me too. But I hear A Silver Mt. Zion is great live, really into what they're playing. So i guess thats good at least. And its true what people say, EITS might change your life live on the right night.

I need to see ASMZ sooo bad. Almost did, but I had to skip out on it:(.

RdTv 04.05.2007 11:49 PM

To slip in on this discussion......Mogwai is incredibly loud for what they are, so if you go see them in a small venue (I saw them at a local hall that fits 250 people max) be warned.

Everyneurotic 04.06.2007 12:04 AM

i couldn't go see mogwai when they came here because the whole got in the way for me to get to see them.

Elk City.

(Why? Because someone wrote that the singer sounded like "a female Bowie engaged in a three-way with Hope Sandoval and Patti Smith." which was enough to make me give it a chance and a half.)
