Hawkwind - Space Ritual (vinyl)

Weird. Me and my girlfriend pulled that out and listened to last week, for the first time in a good 2 years. Absolutely love that album. The song "Has-Been" is amazing, and that collab with Henry Rollins? AMAZING!

David Lynch/John Neff - Blue Bob

AC, I know you hated Inland Empire, but what did you think of Lynch's singing on Ghost of Love?

What, I didn't hate it at all. It's just the only Lynch film (besides Dune...) that I actually feel deserves criticism. I'd give it like a 7/10. That song's amazing btw.

completely different.

You know, it kinda sounds like Big Black playing the blues or something. It's weird simple vaguely-industrial drum machine rock with very very simple odd distorted guitars playing one note with telephone vocals and odd background noises. Great shit.

Sounds great. I'll have to check it out ASAP.

In speaking of directors releasing albums. Have you heard of/ heard this:

Haha no never heard of that. Not surprising though, Korine's involved with some crazy bands...

"She Creatures" by Implog off of one of the New York Noise comps. This is highly recommended as worth seeking out. More Crampsish than "noise" in my estimation. Brilliantly cool tune.
