There's always Battles. I like the Mirrored LP. Or Liars.

MellySingsDoom 11.16.2007 07:59 AM

Everyone's talking about Kevin Shields like it's the Second Coming, and no-one's mentioned the re-union of BOYZONE, possibly the most talented and unique vocal quintet since The Pasadenas. Ingrates, of all you!

PS. We need to talk more about racist black metal here. A LOT more.
PPS. Why haven't those lazy bums the Wailers reformed yet? Dammit, those Greatest Hits re-issues won't sell themselves, y'knoiw.

i wanna talk about zeni zuva. or zo zo zo zoffy!

sonicl 11.16.2007 08:12 AM

No-one ever wants to talk about Bitch Magnet, so I'm not going to talk about your stinky bands. So there! :fuckyou:

sarramkrop 11.16.2007 08:22 AM

I'm the only Jacobites fan in the world.

Fenriz of Darkthrone, when asked about the MBV re-union yesterday:

He's crabby because his outhouse is cold in the winter.

pavement definatly but with gary young!

huggy bear reunion!!

nick2767 11.16.2007 10:43 AM

Who next? Wouldn't it be great if it was someone from the grave - say, Nirvana. Kurt's death being a gross exaggeration perpertrated by an over eager media and in fact he'd just been on extended sabbatical working on a kibbutz.

Probably the Smiths - for squillions of spondoolies!

I'd be ecstatic if it was band of susans or thin white rope. Two favourite bands from the 80/90's.

ZEROpumpkins 11.16.2007 11:38 PM

I'm pretty sure Kurt's dead. Pretty damn sure.

I can't remember if I saw Band of Susan twice or just once, and I couldn't begin to hum one of their songs. But I still figure I like them a lot. I wonder what they're doing now? Sitting around the retiment home with Salem 66?

MellySingsDoom 11.17.2007 04:26 AM

I want the Happy Flowers to re-form and go on tour again. Who can resist the charms of the likes of "Mom, I Gave The Cat Some Acid?"

Yeah, definately going to happen. I seem to remember reding something where Malkmus said it might happen... After pavement, theres none of the notable 80s/90s indie rock bands left to reform, is there? WHAT WILL WE DO THEN?

Don't kid yourself, Modest Mouse can break up any time they want in order to have a reunion.

alyasa 11.18.2007 01:46 AM

Swans.
