Do you mean a compact camera ? Yes I am (it's a Canon Digital Ixus 70). I initially had a Digital Ixus 55 but my elder sister broke it by letting it fall down :D

terriblecanyons 09.09.2008 05:40 PM

Mm.... it's like, super obvious. :(
You photos are pretty good though, for using a p&s.
If you're serious about photography, I'd upgrade to a DSLR if I were you.

In what way ? The focus or the exposure (or both...) ?

Thanks for the advice, right now I'm just an amateur but I'll look into it.

EDIT: I resized the pics lossless with Gimp as imageshack's resizing was overdestructive.

terriblecanyons 09.09.2008 06:25 PM

Well, for example in this one:

See the blue-ish tint where the roofs and the sky meet? That is non-occurring in better cameras

and in this one:

The sky is practically out-washed and the whitebalance is very off.

EMMAh 09.09.2008 06:32 PM

You might be able to change the white balance and just don't know it.

My old camera used to have a couple of settings, usually one for every occasion.

Cantankerous 09.14.2008 02:49 AM

i will start off by saying that these aren't that great but ireland is so fucking beautiful and i said i would put them up so here.
also, i'm sorry, there are kind of a lot.
