psyche rock was supposed to be the theme from futurama but they couldn't get the rights to use it so groening and cohen ask the guy who was to do the music for every episode to make a piece of music similar to that.

Joy Division and Interpol might as well be the same band.

Most songs remind me of other songs. I don't see how they cannot. Borrowings, appropriations, whatever you want to call them, are natural and inevitable.

La Bamba reminds me of Twist & Shout... and over a million other songs too.

Iterpol sounds like a shitty Joy Division. Listen to the bass and the voice and the tone of the all the songs. Word, Adam. You know how it be.

I always thought that Interpol and Muse were both incredibly overrated. But if you tell any of their fans that they'll start saying that your favourite bands suck, and it hurts too much to hear anyone say that about Sonic Youth.
