Thurston's basically just alternately thrashing the open E and the open G strings while muting the rest. Very tame on the album, but ferocious live.

Yeah I'm not sure about tuning, but I feel like I've seen Thurston play different parts of the fretboard on different occasions. That one sounds decent enough to me
